Enjoy a lively and immersive cultural experience at our hands-on Angklung Workshop, created for LTANT members, with a warm invitation to Indonesian language teachers.

Led by the dedicated team from the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Darwin, this session offers an authentic introduction to the angklung—a traditional Indonesian bamboo instrument celebrated for its collaborative and rhythmic nature.

More than just music, this workshop is a powerful opportunity to explore how cultural practices can enrich language teaching. Discover practical ways to bring music, movement, and intercultural understanding into your classroom, helping students connect more deeply with Indonesian language and culture. The angklung’s emphasis on teamwork and listening also mirrors key communication skills we foster in language education, making this both a fun and pedagogically meaningful experience.

Connect with fellow educators, exchange ideas, and expand your teaching toolkit, all while enjoying an inspiring hour of music, culture, and community.

Food and drinks will be provided, so come along and be part of this unique cultural and professional learning experience.
