ALAA 2025 Conference

The national ALAA Conference that is taking place at CDU this year on 17 - 19 November 2025. This conference is of course very relevant to our work as when we teach languages this is applied linguistics in action.

At this point in time the call for papers is still occurring for the next week if you would like to present on what languages education looks like in the NT. For our Alice Springs/ Nhulunbuy members, if you are interested in putting in a paper, we can also organise a grant for travel costs. This is not a lot of time to organise a paper, so if you are interested, it is a little bit time sensitive.
