About the Event

Andrew Scrimgeour will offer a follow up online session in Creating a Whole School Languages Policy.

Andrew intends to cover how to develop an engaging rationale for languages, both in school policy and for languages program. Policy documentation has the habit of being boring, so Andrew will assist us in bringing these to life.  He will focus on how we as language teachers can take a broader view of languages in the community, the school and the classroom by using the target language as a means of valuing all languages in community, which widens the relevance and the benefits of our subjects.

In this follow up session, Andrew will set some next steps and tasks for us to start building our own policies.

A Teams Link will be provided to those who have registered for the event the week of the event.

Please register by July 17th.
