Rice, the soul food of Japan. In this session, participants will learn how rice is deeply intertwined with Japanese culture, festivals, seasonal events, and daily life. They will also consider recent trends surrounding rice to gain insights into Japan’s and world’s food culture. Finally, we will share ideas for classroom activities using the theme of rice.
